A newly emerging body of work…
Leah’s glacial time-scapes/landscapes have evolved to embody a playful struggle of thought she has regarding the perspective self-important humans often have about world/land/objects around them, and have taken on 3D sculpture shapes and and motion in film as well.

The Plastiglomerate,
Humankind’s newest rock, is made up of melted plastics and natural materials. It has been declared the fossil record of our late human era.
Instead of dwelling on the hopeless human effects on the planet, Leah chooses to find a celebratory view to the idea with her work.
In 2025, Cupino will film the erratic’s /plastiglomerate’s process of transformation in the wilderness, culminating in an exhibition at TRYST Art Fair at. the Torrance Art Museum, CA, and the Helen E. Copeland Gallery at Montana State University the following year.
Aspects of this body of work have been exhibited with We.United Gallery, Czech Republic from Dec 8 - 21, 2022, and with Art Gallery Studios, Mexico City, CDMX, Dec 2022 - April 2023.
